The actress insists she isn’t a total goody-goody — because she parties with her pals when she’s out of the public eye.

I have a lot of fun,” she says. “I can’t when I’m working, but when I’m out of the public eye I go out and have fun and party with my friends. My friends aren’t famous people, though, and we go to each other’s apartments rather than to clubs with movie stars. That’s not my group of people.”

“I love acting but it means you leave your friends, family and home for three or four months,” she adds.

“If you do it more than once a year, then you really don’t have a life.

“But producing and directing would allow me to live at home and be with my friends.”

Portman recently admitted she finds it difficult to live up to her reputation as glamorous Hollywood star because she just wants to slob out at home.

“Every actress I know is the messiest, grubbiest person,” she said.

“It can make you feel very ugly at home, too, when you are always all made up then you wake up in the morning and your hair is disgusting and your face is disgusting.”

Portman, 29 ans, est aleady être hype pour une nomination aux Oscars pour sa performance dans The Black Swan. Des sources affirment qu'elle est très intéressé à jouer Blanche-Neige, qui se décrit comme une version adulte de la Classique Disney. Cinéaste français Jean-Pierre Jeunet sera mise en scène.

Il n'y a pas beaucoup d'informations sur le film, mais ce sera une version contemporaine du conte classique de Walt Disney. Toutefois, d'autres médias sont le décrivant comme «putain-y" et c'est un mot nous ne pouvons pas trouver dans le dictionnaire. D'autres appellent cela une "edgy" version de Blanche-Neige.

Et là où «putain-y" vient je n'ai aucune idée, les nouvelles se décrit simplement le film comme "énervé" et pourrait signifier graveleux, sombres ou violents pour n'en nommer que quelques-uns. Il est à peine à dresser un portrait de Blanche-Neige se salir les mains avec sept nains. De toute façon ce n'est mot sur le pommier pour le moment, nous vous ferons savoir si elle a effectivement jamais porte des fruits - empoisonné ou autrement.

“Scheduling conflicts” is the reason given, an now Warner Bros. must search for another leading lady if this movie is ever going to get off the ground.

The next obviously choice is recent Oscar winner Sandra Bullock who had a great year at the box office last year. Deadline say Warner Bros. is “making a full court press” for the actress, probably because they can’t think of anyone else to lead after her. Naomi Watts, Marion Cotillard, Carey Mulligan, Scarlett Johansson, Sienna Miller, Abbie Cornish, Rebecca Hall, Olivia Wilde and Blake Lively have all been considered, but none have proved themselves as box office draws (but I guess they haven’t really been given the chance).

$80 million is quite a lot to put behind a movie with a female lead, but only because no studio has done it in a while. Aeon Flux, Elektra and Catwoman killed female lead action movies (because they sucked, not because they had female leads), and now the studios have a situation where Angelina Jolie is the only actress who can carry an action film.

Robert Downey Jr. has signed up to star as the team leader at the space station, but it was never the intention for him to carry the film. Filming was set to begin next year, but that will all depend on if they find a lead.

Who do you think should star in Gravity? Personally i’d be interested in names such as Kate Winslet, Halle Berry or Rachel Weisz.

“There have been some revisions to the credits on this new one-sheet for Black Swan,” says Searchlight’s note accompanying the new poster, and that’s true — no longer does “Academy Award Nominee Natalie Portman” have to slum horizontally with co-stars Vincent Cassel and Mila Kunis. More intriguingly, Portman has been given a narrower face, a more defined neck, slightly downgraded cheekbones, and — this is the bummer for me — lighter, clearer eyes that steal some of the mystery in her darker, redder peepers in the original. It’s like she’s trying to make eye contact — more vulnerable than predatory, which, having not seen the film, may be the point. But I liked predatory, for what that’s worth, which is… well, nothing.

Por ahora hablar de Thor 2 es una completa utopía. Pero el dato desvelado tanto por Natalie Portman como Kat Dennings es ciertamente revelador. Ambas estarían en la segunda entrega de la adaptación del conocido personaje de Marvel.

Thor 2 no vería la luz hasta, al menos, el año 2014. Sobre todo porque su próxima aparición en cines, tras la primera película, será en 2012 con Los Vengadores. Uniéndose a Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr), Chris Evans (Capitán América), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Scarlett Johansson (Viuda Negra) o Jeremy Renner (Ojo de Halcón).

La primera película de Thor se estrenará en cines el próximo 6 de mayo de 2011. Tras ver el primer tráiler han quedado buenas sensaciones. Ojala no nos defraude.

What would it take for Black Swan actress Natalie Portman to return to her roots with a sequel to The Professional? Not much, apparently — original director Luc Besson simply needs to get behind the lens in order for it to happen.

At the Toronto International Film Festival, MTV asked Portman if she would be interested in reprising her role of Mathilda in a sequel to The Professional, also known as Léon.

“Luc won’t direct it himself, and so I’m only interested if he [directs],” she said. “I told him if he would do it himself, I would do it in two seconds. But he won’t.”

I’m sure that many fans would be curious to see where Mathilda has landed all of these years later, but without Besson’s involvement, perhaps it’s best to let The Professional rest in peace. Besides, how could a sequel go forward without Jean Reno? His chemistry with Portman was such an important ingredient to that film’s success, so much so that it’s difficult to imagine a sequel without Reno’s involvement. That said, if Besson and Portman can make this film a reality, I’ll gladly pay the price of admission and risk some disappointment in the process.
