Natalie Portman could therefore Sif, the goddess of the land of Asgard and Thor's wife. Although by the time its role is not fully defined, and could also be Jane Foster, a pair of Donald Blake, the character of Thor in the real world.
Although by the time Kenneth Branagh did not state anything definitively about the cast, Natalie Portman many ballots would have to be part of the deal. Somewhat less clear is still the name of the actor to star in the saga. A few weeks ago there was talk of Daniel Craig for the same, but it seems that the new James Bond does not have the blessing of the producers of it. Another name that seems to have more support is Josh Harnett, who saw in a supporting role in 'Sin City' or playing 'El Caso Slevin'.
The growing success of the comic book adaptations is confirmed by the inclusion of super stars in the casts of recent films and upcoming productions that will see the light at cinemas throughout 2010 and 2011. Names like that of Scarlett Johansson were unthinkable only a few years ago. No doubt a creative niche for a Hollywood seemed tired, at least lately.
