Portman will play a young dancer at the New York City Ballet who may or may not be having delusions about a rival dancer. The cast will also include Mila Kunis, Winona Ryder, Barbara Hershey, and Vincent Cassell. Shooting on Black Swan is scheduled to begin in New York before the end of the year.
Portman has starred on Broadway in The Diary of Anne Frank and in the Shakespeare in the Park production of The Seagull. She can currently be seen on the big screen in New York, I Love You and her many upcoming films include Thor, Your Highness, Brothers, and Hesher.
