Portman and Millepied started dating last year, while shooting Black Swan; the French-born Millepied is a principal at the New York City Ballet and a choreographer who worked on the film. He also briefly appears onscreen as the dance partner of both Portman and Kunis. Here's a photo of them together from the Venice Film Festival premiere of Black Swan.

Also, he is really hot.

People says the baby is due "in 2011." (We're glad to know that 1) Portman hasn't managed to conceal a baby due in the next week and 2) She won't be pregnant for 13 months.) Mazel tov to both of them!

¿Dónde se conocieron? En la película “Black Swan”. Millepied, bailarín principal del Ballet de Nueva York. Millepied, nacido en 1977 en la ciudad francesa de Bordeaux, es un coreógrafo de fama internacional que prestó su arte para la producción de “Black Swan” tanto para entrenar a Portman y su compañera de reparto Mila Kunis, como para aparecer en los bailes de la trama.

Natalie Portman wowed at IFP's 20th Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards at Cipriani in NYC, but the actress reveals that dropping a whopping 20 pounds for her starring role in Black Swan was quite the challenge.

"I think it was just the physicality of it all that was the most extreme," she told Us Weekly last night. "I mean, I had never gotten that much training - to be doing five-to-eight hours a day of [it] was really a challenge." A year before shooting began, the 5'3" actress got in shape by doing a combination of extreme ballet, cross-training, and swimming, and when asked if she'd do it all over again, she replied, "I think I would do this kind of training again because it's just so rewarding. It's always one of those things where, when you put in a lot, you get out a lot."

[HMG Celebrity News] – The love scene between Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis in the new movie, ‘Black Swan’ caused acres of judgmental press – before it was even released. But Natalie’s year-long training regime for the film could be a film of its own.

“Working five to eight hours a day for a year…it’s what real dancers live through,” she tells People. “It was an amazing experience, but definitely a difficult one.”

Then there was the diet. While filming the taut, psychological thriller it was essential that Natalie looked right for the role, so she had to really cut down on eating;

“It wasn’t really giving up food,” says the 29-year old actress. “It was just smaller portions. It was more quantity than any particular thing.”

And once the film ended what was her diet? “It was just pasta and bread and pizza all the time,” she says, clearly relieved.

Natalie trained for the dance scenes with the New York Ballet Company’s principal dancer. Benjamin Millepied, and they also began dating.

“He knows how to change when things aren’t working well,” says Natalie. “Sometimes I just couldn’t do something. No matter how hard I worked, I couldn’t do it. He would fix it and make it something I could do.”

And she’s clearly got it for Ben pretty bad; Heaping praise on his “creativity and intelligence,” she then tells the scribes;

“He was really flexible. And working with actors rather than dancers, that flexibility was key.”

Natalie Portman who’s most likely going to get her next Oscar nomination for Aronofsky’s BLACK SWAN has a new project but this time, it’s her own work..

24 Frames reported that Portman and college friend Laura Moses have been shopping a comedy around town. It’s a raunchy comedy titled BRING YOUR OWN, that they wrote together and two studio execs have read the script.
The story described as a female-themed Superbad is about “two very different twentysomething women who, after finding themselves unlucky in love, decide to throw a party to which each female attendee brings an eligible bachelor”
Well, well,.. either Portman is a big fan of Apatow R-rated sense of humor or she’s still feeling high from the racy scene she had to do with Mila Kunis in BLACK SWAN. Portman never wrote a movie before, so this should be fun.
BYO will star Portman as one of the leads. Word has it Anne Hathaway is very interested in the second lead role. Portman is producing the project which could get made either by a studio or via independent financing.
