Natalie Portman could be Lisbeth Salander in the U.S. adaptation of 'Millennium'

The name sounds like Natalie Portman to play the leading lady of the American adaptation of the series 'Millennium', which is rumored to safely George Clooney plays the male. The actress is right now finalizing details for the shoot 'Thor', the adaptation of the Marvel comic that will share the deal with Chris Hemsworth and Anthony Hopkins, among others.

Based on the literary saga created by Stieg Larsson, 'Millennium' already has a series on billboards. It released the first two parts and in the absence of the third, which will come out next year with the title "Millennium 3: The Queen in the palace of the draft."

But Sony is willing to generate a new trilogy.

So far no date for the new series 'Millennium', but the first part of it could see the light in cinemas in late 2011.
